Glad we’ll get a chance to see you on your next epic American adventure, Erk!
You can take Amtrak between SFO and SLO but they’ll likely send you on a bus/train combo for the trip. As far as I know, as of right now, Amtrak doesn’t operate a train that runs directly between here and there. You can also take a short flight, if you’d rather. We should be able to pick you up at either the train station or airport, depending. You could always rent a car too, I suppose.
One word of caution, if you’re planning on staying at least one night while you’re in our fair little town. We’ve downgraded our couch since the last time you were here and I don’t know how comfortable it’ll be to sleep on. But you’re welcome to it, if you want to try!
