Erk FM 51 – Merry Xmas, Engine 51
Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 1:03:58 — 58.6MB)
Welcome to the 2009 Erk FM Christmas episode, released on Christmas Day. This episode was partly inspired by an interview Erk did with Jamie the Podmedic in May this year. Jamie is the host of the MedicCast and he issued a challenge to Erk. You’ll hear the results of this challenge today. There is a Christmas theme but there is another theme as well – see if you can spot it. Listen to the full interview between Jamie and Erk here (Erk Pod episode 199).
Have a great Christmas period – this is the final episode of Erk FM for the year. Episode 53 of Erk FM will be released on January 1, 2010.

I’m listening to this one out of order, because I wanted to hear the Christmas episode while it was still Christmas over here.
The word celtic pronounced “sell-tic” is a sports team. I think you wanted to say “Kell-tic”. Like “Book of Kells”. The songs were pretty!
It was very nice to hear the entire song medley Greensleeves- What Child is This /I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing In/ Christmas At Devil’s House , instead of in the little pieces you’ve been sprinkling in other episodes. Very nice!
The Christmas Song by Corey Smith is rather timely. The songs by Whitlock were delightfully pop sounding. There is something about harmonies that voices of siblings can create that blends like nothing else can.
Merry Christmas, Erk and Judy! :)
