Welcome to episode 358 of Erk Pod. Erk is back with another episode, this time from Open Day at Canberra International Airport. There was a mixture of aircraft ranging from General Aviation planes, current & former military planes, current day commercial planes operated by QANTAS, Virgin Australia & Brindabella Airlines as well as 2 displays by Australian aerobatic star Matt Hall.

Due to the nature of the event, there were a lot of people on site ranging from small children, adults of all ages & interest levels in aviation. Erk describes what he can see as well as his earlier experience during the week in a Flight Experience B737-800 simulator.

If you want to hear more about aviation in Australia & the Asia Pacific region from people who know what they are talking about (people who aren’t Erk!), be sure to listen to Plane Crazy Down Under
