Welcome to Erk FM: International episode 221. This episode is a replay of episode 148 of Erk FM, 2011′s Couch X Couchwest special with some updated content for 2012. Erk was chatting on Twitter in 2011 with Imperial Rooster who suggested “what about covering CXCW?”
Thinking that it might have been a Canadian version of SXSW I asked for more details. It turns out that CXCW stands for Couch X Couch West and many artists who could not get onto the program or could not get to SXSW had their own festival from the comfort of their couches. I was then swamped with bands who took part in CXCW. Music supplied by the artists directly.
