Graphic – Poster for Amodus’ Smokescreen album launch
Welcome to episode 20 of Erk FM: Metal Monday. The rather long episode title comes to me from Foundry Road’s drummer, Brad. Erk was complaining on Facebook about the massive moshpit at Sydney’s hed PE gig recently because he was wondering where all those people where every other weekend. So Brad replied “(hed) are 4646384726484826363 times bigger than bands from West Sydney dude lol”
All music except the final three tracks supplied by BlueFreya. Karl found me because he noticed via Facebook that I had played Die So Fluid on last week’s episode & that he is a big fan of that band. So his theory (which worked out to be correct) was that if I would play Die So Fluid, I’d play artists from his label. This week’s episode features Australian artists from BlueFreya’s books & next week’s episode will be filled with non Australian artists.
This week’s opening voices were Brad from Foundry Road & Amodus who are launching their album Smokescreen after this episode is released. Have a great launch, guys!
