Welcome to episode 148 of Erk FM, Erk’s music podcast featuring a wide range of podsafe & independent music from across the world. This week’s episode follows on from last week’s episode about the SXSW Festival. Erk was chatting on Twitter with Imperial Rooster who suggested “what about covering CXCW?”
Thinking that it might have been a Canadian version of SXSW I asked for more details. It turns out that CXCW stands for Couch X Couch West and many artists who could not get onto the program or could not get to SXSW had their own festival from the comfort of their couches. I was then swamped with bands who took part in CXCW. Music supplied by the artists directly.
