Welcome to episode 136 of Erk FM, Erk’s music podcast featuring a wide range of podsafe & independent music from across the world. Last Saturday, Erk had the chance to listen to Ariel Hyett from Ariel Publicity speak on the subject of “What Went Wrong” in terms on online music promotion. The room was full of music industry people such as artists, publicists, promoters and Erk. As a result of the talk and Erk briefly speaking about the subject of music podcasting, the songs on this episode were all supplied by the artists who were in attendance (or in one case, the artist attended a different day of the same talk) at the talk. There are a range of styles of music on today’s episode. This talk also led to the creation of the Erk FM newsletter “Down The Pipes”. There is a White edition for listeners, Red Edition for industry types.
