Welcome to episode 78 of Erk FM. This is a special episode of Erk FM remembering ANZAC Day that is on Sunday. ANZAC Day commemorates the day that Australia and New Zealand landed at Gallipoli in Turkey and started their joint involvement in World War I. ANZAC Day is now used to remember fallen soldiers from Australia and New Zealand in all battles across the world. Find out more about ANZAC Day here.
To celebrate this event, Erk FM will feature 5 Australian songs and 5 songs from New Zealand. Also check out the Insomnia Radio: New Zealand (hi, Laurie!), Indie World FM (hi again, Laurie!) and the Sitting Duck Podcast (hi, Allister!) music podcasts if you want a little more Kiwi music and accents! (Erk must admit, the Kiwi accent is rather choice!)
All music is courtesy of AirPlay Direct. None of these artists have been played on Erk FM before and there is a variety of genres.
